Self-driven Cars, Auto-piloted Cars a Reality in 2021

Self-driven cars will become a reality in 2021 after decades of innovative research and application. The introduction of Advanced Driving Assistance System technologies like adaptive cruise control and automated braking was a step to prepare drivers psychologically for the change from manual to automatic piloted cars.

Top companies making self-driven cars include Google, Tesla, Volvo, Daimler, and Apple. Google has already carried out extensive testing over a period of six years on U.S. roads. The Google Car is powered by an electric motor and a compact battery pack. It is reported that these intelligent cars can reach a top speed of 25 mph – enough to comfortably cruise through traffic in cities or gently ride in remote areas.

The interior of google’s self-driven ride is more spacious and comfortable than you can imagine. It looks simple but the wiring inside must be extremely complicated. One good thing about google is that they allow strangers to watch their car tests sessions and even give free test rides to curious individuals who are eager know how it feels to be driven by a robot. According a study carried out by Juniper Research, almost 20 million fully autonomous or self-driving vehicles will be on the road by 2025.
