Top 10 Most Popular Cars on Sale in Mexico

Mexico is found in North America and it is a very close neighbor to the United States of America and Canada. However, Mexico and the US do NOT have a lot in common when it comes to Music, Drugs and Culture. Mexicans have a unique culture and life style which is completely different from the Americans and Canadians.  You might thing that when it comes to the Automotive Industry (Car Industry), Mexico and the US have the same car brands and models on their streets. Unfortunately this is very  far from the truth, there are HUGE differences between the Mexican and the American(US)   automotive industry.

In fact, the automotive industry in North America is very unusual. Because of differences in regional tastes, environmental controls and safety regulations. America and Canada have much stricter controls on emissions as compared to  Mexico, which means that a lot of the cars manufactured for the Mexican and Central American market would simply be too polluting for America’s roads. In addition, Mexican safety standards are a little more relaxed than those imposed on the US motoring industry. Not necessarily a good thing, but it does mean that there are clear distinctions between the cars on the streets of Mexico and those on the streets of the US.
