First Walking Car, A Car that Walks over Stones, Hills and Mountains

                                              Hyundai ‘Elevate’ Walking Car Concept
CES 2019 offers an exceptional surprise -  Hyundai car that can not only drive but  is capable of walking or climbing over stones, hills, and mountains. This vehicle is called Elevate which can move over challenging and difficult fields. Elevate is a vehicle combining aspect of robotics and electric vehicle technology into a four-legged modern prototype which provides a brand new intriguing option for automobile mobility. This technology is a breaking age technology that will solve a lot of the limitations of purely rolling cars.

The benefits of a car that walks are almost infinite, but the manufacturing brand Hyundai is concentrating at first on emergency response situations. The extendable legs with wheels on the ends are what allows the vehicle to move over various difficult terrains, as they roll like normal wheels or be extended to walk over obstacles or rough ground. In addition, the slim body of the vehicle has enough space to carry a stretcher with a patient aboard, and the large side doors would be a way for responders to load patients in and treat them in place. In the future, this technology can be extended to the Agricultural field in the tractor manufacturing sector. This will permit tractors to be able to work in high sloping and difficult terrains. Hence, increasing yield significantly.

Details on the “Elevate” have not been released, but a teaser image depicts a vehicle with wheels mounted to articulated limbs that can apparently lift the cab to great heights as it crosses the roughest terrain.
